# Get Started

Run a public spatial app without keys, change its SDK interactions, then connect Team data or reconstruct an image batch when you need it.

## Run the complete starter

Use the fixed **1.3.0** release.

- [Agent instructions](https://developer.realsee.ai/starters/react-five/1.3.0/agent.md)
- [Release manifest and SHA-256](https://developer.realsee.ai/starters/react-five/1.3.0/manifest.json)
- [Complete project ZIP](https://developer.realsee.ai/starters/react-five/1.3.0/starter.zip)
- [Public Demo guide](https://developer.realsee.ai/starters/react-five/1.3.0/demo.md)
- [Team integration guide](https://developer.realsee.ai/starters/react-five/1.3.0/team.md)

Use Node 24. Read the manifest, download its archive, and verify the SHA-256 before extracting into a new directory. Preserve the lockfile and pinned dependencies. From `realsee-react-five`, run:

```bash
npm ci
npm run check
npm run build
npm run dev
```

Open the actual local URL printed by the server. Verify that the public scene reaches Ready. Switch the viewer from Panorama to Floorplan and back, then use Reset view. No account or credentials are required for Public Demo. Report browser checks only when actually performed.

For Team data, run `npm run configure -- --device`. Give the user its verification URL and eight-character code, keep the command running, and wait while they sign in, select their Team and app, and authorize. Do not approve for the user. The helper writes the local `.env` and preserves existing credentials. If authorization is unavailable, create `.env` from `.env.example` only if absent and let the user fill AK, SK and Team source locally. Never paste secrets into chat or expose them to browser code. Restart the server, select Your Team, and click Check API & list VRs. Check token exchange, the authorized VR list, and selected Work separately. Public Demo success does not prove Team API access; an empty authorized list is a distinct successful read.

Start with a real scene in a complete React + TypeScript project. You can run it before signing in, creating a Developer app, or starting a trial.

## Choose your first result

| What you want to build | Start here | Requirements |
| --- | --- | --- |
| A local app showing a real 3D space | [Public Five SDK starter](https://developer.realsee.ai/docs/five-sdk/quickstart) | Node 24, WebGL, and network; no account or keys |
| A local app using your own VRs | [Team API starter](https://developer.realsee.ai/docs/open-api/quickstart) | The same project plus a Team-owned Developer app |
| An Argus reconstruction package | [Argus Quickstart](https://developer.realsee.ai/docs/argus/quickstart) | App credentials, an input image batch, and task prerequisites |
| A SaaS VR generated from panoramas | [Pano-to-VR](https://developer.realsee.ai/docs/pano-to-vr) | App credentials and a panorama ZIP |

## Run the public scene

Use [fixed starter instructions](https://developer.realsee.ai/starters/react-five/1.3.0/agent.md) with an AI coding tool that can create files and run terminal commands. For manual setup, download the same project and follow [Five SDK Quickstart](https://developer.realsee.ai/docs/five-sdk/quickstart#install-check-and-run).

Both paths use the official versioned starter, its pinned dependencies, and its lockfile. Open the local URL printed by the running project. Wait for **Ready**, drag to look around, switch Panorama and Floorplan, then reset the view.

You can also [try the hosted public Demo](https://developer.realsee.ai/playground).

## Make the scene your own

Choose **Open SDK examples** in the local starter. The guides below use the example code included in that project:

- [Load a scene](https://developer.realsee.ai/docs/five-sdk/load-a-scene) — mount Work, show loading, and dispose the viewer.
- [Camera and modes](https://developer.realsee.ai/docs/five-sdk/camera-and-modes) — move, look around, and save a view.
- [Events and coordinates](https://developer.realsee.ai/docs/five-sdk/events-and-coordinates) — pick a model point and place a label.
- [Capture an image](https://developer.realsee.ai/docs/five-sdk/capture-images) — export a PNG from the scene.

Use [React lifecycle](https://developer.realsee.ai/docs/five-sdk/react-lifecycle) when bringing the viewer into an existing React app. Add [Dnalogel spatial interfaces](https://developer.realsee.ai/docs/dnalogel/quickstart) or [Vreo guided experiences](https://developer.realsee.ai/docs/vreo/quickstart) when your product needs them.

## Connect your Team when you need its data

Follow [Team API Quickstart](https://developer.realsee.ai/docs/open-api/quickstart) in the same starter. Run `npm run configure -- --device` and open its verification link. Sign in, choose the owning Team and an enabled app, then select **Authorize agent** yourself. The helper writes the local server `.env`. If device authorization is unavailable, fill `.env` locally. Never paste SK or tokens into prompts or browser code.

Only a **Team owner** can create a Developer app. New apps receive the default **14-day trial**. Each Team can have **up to 10 Developer apps**, including expired or disabled apps. See [Team and App Management](https://developer.realsee.ai/docs/team-app-management) for ownership, app creation, trial status, and continued use.

Verify token exchange and the VR list first, then render a selected Team scene. An empty authorized list is a valid API result. A public Demo render does not prove Team API access.

## Reconstruct from an image batch

[Argus Quickstart](https://developer.realsee.ai/docs/argus/quickstart) covers input requirements, reconstruction tasks, and checking the result. Start there to reconstruct multiple 2:1 panoramas or multiple 1:1 pinhole images. The result is a package of reconstruction outputs.

To create a SaaS VR from panoramas, follow [Pano-to-VR](https://developer.realsee.ai/docs/pano-to-vr), powered by Argus.
